A small handicap bathroom addition.
Although this addition is small at only 120 sq. ft., it represents the typical and average home addition project. The project led to an additional bathroom remodel, and replacing the whole home's and attached garage's roof, siding, sofits, replacement windows, and covering all the trim with aluminum. Like with most homeowners that Fox River Remodeling Co. works for, it always leads to repeat and long term relationships as well with neighbor's projects. This project was important to the elderly gentleman. He needed to convert his home, to keep his elderly handicapped wife at home and not cause her to be placed in a nursing home. She was wheelchair bound with long term MS, and gradually getting worse. The wife could barely communicate, not even able to utter entire words, she was included in everything, she always wanted her bathroom to be that color. The husband wanted continuity throughout the home, as if the addition had always been a part of the home they built 40-50 years before. That is exactly what they received, their dreams and expectations were fulfilled. When the project was completed, walking out with the final payment in hand, they were both very pleased and happy. It was quite the Christmas gift for the two of them.
