New Kitchen with Old World Charm

Watch the slideshow and see for yourself this awesome transformation. Fox River Remodeling Co. , LLC built it all, including the cabinets and countertops. This project was more than meets the eye. Because the house is roughly 90 years old, the kitchen had been remodeled several times. With each remodel, a new "layer" was added, including three lathe and plaster ceilings and two soffit systems above the cabinets. Everything is now new: windows, drywall, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, electrical, and fixtures. Even a dishwasher was added! An antique door was specially chosen to replace the back hall door leading to the basement, and it looks as if it has always been there. Love the fluted farm sink, along with the bead board style cabinet doors. This is the third renovation we've done for this client, including two bathrooms. One of those bathrooms is also featured on this website; it is the bathroom remodel with the claw foot bathtub.
